Atlantic Agricultural Hall of Fame
The Atlantic Agricultural Hall of Fame celebrates the contributions made by four individuals to the agriculture industry in Atlantic Canada. Producers, innovators, volunteers, scientists and business professionals are honoured for their role in shaping and influencing agriculture, the impact of their contributions being felt locally, nationally and internationally.
This year the Hall of Fame will honour the following inductees:
Leonardus (Leo) Cox (NS)
Robert Colpitts (NB), 1933-2014
Wayne Dickieson (PEI)
Ross Traverse (NL)
Two of this year’s inductees are also NSAC alumni. Ross Traverse, Class of ’64 and Robert Colpitts, who will be inducted posthumously, Class of ’54.
This year’s ceremony will be held Thursday, October 16th @ 1:00pm in the ºÚÁÏ³Ô¹Ï Theatre, Cumming Hall. A reception will follow.
