This two-day course is designed for industry members interested in learning how to set up and operate a shellfish hatchery. Participants will gain both theoretical knowledge and practical experience through a combination of classroom lectures and laboratory sessions with hands-on training. The course is delivered in two focused sections, covering the technical foundations of hatchery operations as well as oyster biology and production.Ìý

- Date: March 30-31, 2026, running 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.Ìý
- Instructors: Dr. Sarah Stewart-Clark, John Batt
- Location: On-campus, Faculty of AgricultureÌý
- Registration closes on March 13thÌý
- Fee: $550 +HST per participantÌý(lunch & refreshments included)
- Participants will receive a Certificate of Participation upon completion
