Grant is serving his first term on the board of directors, and currently serves as secretary. He graduated from NSAC in 2002 with a BSc (Agr) in plant science. Originally from PEI, Grant now calls Abbotsford, BC home and has worked in agriculture since graduation. From 2003 to 2025, Grant worked with Integrated Crop Management Services Inc (ICMS), where he started as a research agronomist and then served as regional manager. In 2025, Grant launched his own agriculture consulting company, Agile Ag Inc. Grant has also been a member of the National Alliance of Independent Crop Consultants since 2007 and was elected to the executive board in 2017, after which he served terms as president-elect and president.

Dale is serving his second term on the board of directors. Raised on a potato and beef farm in Florenceville, New Brunswick, Dale graduated from NSAC in 1973, followed by Macdonald College of McGill University. In his career, Dale has worked for government and private industry in Atlantic Canada as seed potato specialist, horticulturist, and maple and wild blueberry extension specialist. Dale is now retired and lives in Truro. He enjoys volunteering, hiking, reading, and visiting with family and friends in New Brunswick, Nova Scotia and Toronto.  

Allyson is serving her first term on the board of directors. She graduated from Dal AC in 2023 with a BSc (Agr) in agriculture business. During her time on campus, Allyson served as the vice president of internal affairs (2021/22) and president (2022/23) of the Dalhousie Agricultural Students’ Association and also played volleyball for the Rams women’s volleyball team. Allyson is currently completing her final year of law school at the University of New Brunswick, and will begin articling with Stewart McKelvey’s Fredericton office in June 2026.

Lauren is serving her first term on the board of directors. She graduated from Dal AC in 2019 with a BAg and BBA in International Food Business. Throughout her studies, she was actively involved in campus life, including managing the student pub, "The Barn", volunteering as an orientation leader and serving as the co-president of the IFB club. Upon her graduation, Lauren was named Life President of her graduating class and began working on campus. As Community Education Manager, Lauren leads the Faculty of Agriculture’s efforts to promote a broad understanding of agriculture and research to educators, students, community groups and the general public.

Yangfan is serving his first term on the board of directors. He graduated from Dal AC with a BSc (Agr) majoring in aquaculture and minoring in ag economics. He went on to complete both his MSc and PhD in animal biology at the University of British Columbia. Yangfan is currently a Banting postdoctoral fellow based at Harvard University in Cambridge, Massachusetts. His research program integrates comparative physiology, biomechanics, and translational physiology, with a focus on improving animal health and performance. Throughout his career, he has held leadership roles in institutional, regional, and international professional societies, contributing to research, mentoring, and community-building in his field.

Jillian is serving her first term on the board of directors. She grew up in Spring Valley, PE, and graduated from Dal AC in 2022 with a BSc (Agr) in environmental sciences. During her time at the AC, she was involved in all aspects of life on campus, including Rams varsity volleyball, Students’ Representative Council, house events and various volunteer roles, and was named life president of her graduating class. 
Jillian now lives on the south shore of PEI near her partner's potato and beef farm, and works on behalf of PEI's farmers as Deputy Director of the PEI Federation of Agriculture.
